Kashi Swaprakashi, a magical place to realize the eternal principle, the Shiv tattwa Entering Kashi is akin to embarking on a grand yogic journey (mahayoga). This divine city ignites a powerful internal yajna (sacrifice) within us, a transformative fire that awakens our spiritual potential. The Kashi Yana undertaken by the Sushumna Kriya Yogis for Guru Purnima transcends a mere pilgrimage (yatra). Through Pujya Sri Aathmanandamayi Guruma's infinite grace and divine teachings, Kashi itself seems to be reborn as a facilitator for a practical yogic process.
What is special about Guru Pournami?
On the full moon days, the Ida and Pingala are balanced and the Sushumna Nadi rises like a lightening trying to touch the Sahasrara chakra. This is a yogic process known to sadhaks (practitioners) only. This process is achieved more easily on Guru Pournami days more than other Pournami or full moon days. This process happens within the subtle body, undetected outside. For a yogi, there cannot be a more powerful practice. Guruma says, the
"Sushumna Nadi" is the most important
amongst the 72000 nadis in the human body. This is also called the "divine nadi".
The city of Kashi, likewise, is the divine nadi of the earth. This city makes one experience Lord Shiva's assertion in the Shiva Purana, "I don't live in Kashi; Kashi lives within me". Guruma urged all to clean the Kashi Ghats saying, "If you offer your weaknesses to me as Gurudakshina, I will purify you with the process of Sushumna Kriya Yoga. It is also a way to destroy one's karma. "This journey culminated in the profound grace of Guruma. The Sushumna Kriya Yogis experienced profound transformations in their physical, subtle and causal bodies, leading to significant personality development. This inner growth marked a new chapter, distinct from their past experiences. Within these pages, we share our transformative experiences with anyone who crosses our path. Immersing yourself in this book is akin to traversing moonlit spiritual paths, guided by the unseen hand of the Guru. So, why wait any longer?
